Meet Dr. Cherry

 

Dr. Elizabeth Ann Cherry grew up in Central Illinois. She attended the University of Illinois in Champaign-Urbana where she received her Bachelors' degree in Biology. She went on to receive her Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) degree from Southern Illinois University School of Dental Medicine where she was awarded for her accomplishments in periodontics.

Dr. Cherry then continued her post-graduate periodontal training at the University of Kentucky School of Dentistry, where she received her specialty certificate in Periodontics and Implant Dentistry and her Master's of Science degree in Oral Biology. During the three year program, she served as chief resident.

Prior to moving to Florida, she practiced periodontics in Louisville, Kentucky. Dr. Cherry is proud to have been providing all aspects of periodontal treatment and dental implant placement to her patients in Central Florida since 2001. She is a Board Certified Diplomate of the American Board of Periodontology, which is the highest level of personal achievement in periodontics, a member of the American Academy of Periodontology and a member of the Academy of Osseointegration.

Dr. Cherry is an avid sports fan and animal lover. She enjoys spending time with friends and family, nature walks and just relaxing with a good book.
